Design Process

Our design process was all about getting something out, in-front of a user, seeing how it performs before iterating on that idea. This allowed us the flexibility to design fast, make changes fast, and get to an end result quickly.

The following are a select few pieces I had direct involvement with to showcase the breath of projects I worked across

As a worker, I want to sign up to Jitjatjo with my skill sets in order to receive jobs.

Onboarding

The on-boarding process for a worker is quite rigorous, as Jitjatjo makes sure that the individuals they are hiring are of high quality; therefore, the process involved a fair amount of checks and balances along the way. To keep the application as smooth as possible, it was broken up into a number of different sections, allowing the applicant to save their progress. These sections include initial details, positions applying for, experience, assessments, accreditation, and selecting an interview time.

Gig Invite

As a worker, I want to view the jobs and details of those jobs in order to decide if I wish to work them or not.

The process of receiving a gig invite, viewing the job details (time, payment, location, outfit, etc.), accepting the gig, or rejecting the gig.

Active Gig

As a worker, I want to view my current job details, clock-in, do the work as needed, clock-out and receive my payment.

The process of a worker on a job. From initial travel through clocking in, applying breaks, finishing the job, and being paid, A lot of the challenges faced by a worker were the ability to track possible “no-shows” and any dependencies around clock-in and clock-out times. The way we handled this was to make each step within the active gig process as clear and defined as possible

Past Gigs

As a worker, I want to view my past jobs in order to see if I have been paid and view my pay stubs.

The process for a worker to view their past jobs in a list, select a particular job to view its history, see whether a payment is still pending or has been sent out, and view pay stubs for tax purposes
