The app used for managers to post jobs and find workers.

Design Process

Our design process was all about getting something out, in-front of a user, seeing how it performs before iterating on that idea. This allowed us the flexibility to design fast, make changes fast, and get to an end result quickly.

But where to begin…?

The following are a select few pieces I had direct involvement with to showcase the breath of projects I worked across

I would love to chat about the full process for each project with you, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Onboarding

As a manager, through the app or web, I want to sign up my establishment to Ondemand and add my managers in order to send out gigs.

The on-boarding process for a manager to add their business to the Jitjatjo system. Allows for a simple sign-up approach with the ability to add extra managers and their individual positions as well.

Dashboard

As a manager, through both the app and the web, I want to see what bookings I have on for the day and the status of future invites.

The dashboard provides managers with the ability to view all relevant information regarding their business activities. Gig fulfillment progress, gigs currently active, gigs that have been recently closed, and any other relevant information that may require attention. We worked closely with managers to define a hierarchy of information they deemed more important than others.

Create Booking

As a manager, through the app or web, I want to be able to create a booking and invite workers to my gig.

The process of creating a new booking flow was broken up into individual sections as you make your way down the page. In its simplest form, a single day with one position can be created, but as the company evolved, the process needed to cater for a myriad of other booking requirements, such as multi-day, staggered, or reoccurring bookings, became a requirement. Adding to this, the ability to add different positions to those different days can become quite complex.
