For startup Jitjatjo, I provided consistent design and developed features for products across multiple applications and devices that required extensive UI for consumer-facing and back-end admin systems.

What’s Jitjatjo? It’s “a workforce management solution for gig workers in the hospitality space”. Basically, it is a multi-product solution for

  • talent to find work - Flex

  • managers to post jobs - OnDemand

  • agencies to assign their workforce - Agency Network

The fourth product – Dash – is the back-end admin tool used to collate all the data from each product.

Across the products, the main challenge was data management and display – while ensuing ease of use, clarity, and importantly, relevance, to the particular user. Adding visualisations and analytics helped to break up data sets, make it easily digestible and not overload users with too much information.

Design Process

The design process focused on getting something out, in front of a user, seeing how it performed, then iterating on that idea. This allowed the team to design fast, make changes fast, and get an end result, quickly.

Case Studies

To demonstrate my contribution to the development of Jitjatjo products, I’m slowly rolling out a series of case studies highlighting my approach to the design process

Jump straight into designs

The app used for workers to find & manage their gigs. Click through to view figma links with prototypes.

The app used for recruitment agencies to access gigs and assign workers.

The app used for managers to post jobs and find workers. Includes a mobile and web version of the app.

The back-end app used to house all information on applicants, workers, venues, gigs, payments, etc.

Odds and ends

All the pieces that make up the entirety of the Jitjatjo apps. Including the entire design systems.
